In September, DSAT will roll out the newly restructured and revised Tec Deep Diver program. Renamed the Tec Diver course, the new program consists of three separate subcourses and certification levels: DSAT Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50. The numbers in each course name corresponds with the maximum depth limit (in metres) of that certification.

A new intermediate course - Tec Trimix 65 - is also being positioned between the Tec 50 and Tec Trimix Diver courses. Tec Trimix 65 is aimed at tec divers who want to get started with trimix but hesitate entering an extended trimix course. Tec Trimix 65 is a briefer course with a reduced depth limit of 65 metres/210 feet.
