A new update is ready v4.21.
This update is recommended for all users.
  • Dive planning improved, errors fixed.
  • Improved / easier compass calibrations.
  • Improved battery life in shutdown mode.
  • CE EN13319 tested / approved.
The battery life during storage has improved greatly, and you should see it last double as long now (typically 6 weeks). No changes to normal usage - still good for a week of daily usage, or 40 hours straight on a single dive.
************
Upgrade and install procedure:
  1. Download from below with your X1 serial number,
  2. Install using the same procedure as before,
  3. Your logs and settings will all remain as before, and the upgrade program will continue on without affecting old data.

I am little late with this one but anyway

We are proud to announce that the X1 and the X-Link hardware have passed the demanding CE certification process (EN 13319). The tests were conducted while running V-Planner Live software, which has also received CE certification.

The tests include:

- temperature cycling
- impact resistance
- seawater resistance
- pressure cycling
- readability
- dive time accuracy
- dive time functions
- display increment
- PO2 display accuracy
- electromagnetic testing (EN 61000)

Liquivision is pleased to announce a new version of the X1 dive computer with a revolutionary new pressure sensor technology for increased reliability and a worry-free dive.

Welcome to the ultra-rugged piezoresistive ceramic pressure transducer!

Liquivision, the first dive computer company to introduce the OLED display and patent-pending “tap” computer navigation, once again innovates in a particularly trouble-prone area for computers: the pressure transducer.

Moving away from the industry-standard silicone-filled product, Liquivision is introducing a patent-pending ceramic transducer, which is so robust you can get a pressure reading by putting your finger on it without causing damage.

Not only this, but the new version of the X1 contains two pressure sensors. The X1 can automatically switch to the secondary transducer, should this be required.

Welcome to a new level of peace of mind while diving!

Product will be shipping mid-November, after DEMA.
