The Cove

Has anyone seen the movie The Cove, now playing at Cumberland 4 in Toronto?

I've heard from a few people that it's worth watching. In case you haven't heard about the movie, it's about the ugly slaughter of dolphins and porpoises in Japan. The toxic meat is then sold to Japanese consumers, sometimes labeled as whale meat. There's no winner in this bloodbath. A few years ago, I saw a documentary on this subject and I can still see the bloody water of the cove into which the animals are being driven to their deaths.

Forum: "Pool's Open!"

My son dropped his gold initial ring into the pond. It is hard to say for certain, but I am guessing that the ring is in roughly 6 to 8 feet of water, which would require a diver with scuba equipment. I am writing with the hope that perhaps you know someone who might be willing to help us out. I am willing to rent an underwater metal detector. The property is in the Flesherton area, about one hour north of Orangeville. I would also include a reward if anyone is interested. Thanks,

Forum: "Pool's Open!"
